INTERLAKE CONNECTIONS PRESENTS: Navigating Substitute Decision-Making and the Public Guardian’s Role with Melissa Schofield!

Join us for an informative session with Melissa Schofield that provides an overview of Substitute Decision-Making (SDM), including how to recognize when an SDM may be needed, the application process, and the rules, roles, and responsibilities of acting as a Substitute Decision-Maker. We will also explore how the Public Guardian functions as an SDM, offering clarity on their role, authority, and limits..

Registration is limited to 50 people max.

When registering please advise if you are bringing your child/sibling with them including their ages and interests. Please also note: anyone who needs specialized behaviour/medical support will require their own support staff to attend the group with them.
