INTERLAKE CONNECTIONS PRESENTS: Supporting Futures: Understanding the EIA Program

Join us for an informative session with a speaker from the Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) program and Manitoba Supports for People with Disabilties (MSPD) program, tailored specifically for caregivers of youth with disabilities. As your child approaches adulthood, understanding how EIA and MSPD supports transitions is key. This presentation will cover eligibility, application processes, adult disability benefits, and how EIA and MSPD can help with planning for transitional and personal stability. Bring your questions and gain clarity on what you need to know to support a successful transition into adulthood.

Presentation open to famlies, school staff, and service providers, from 6-8pm

With a family group discussion to take place following from 8-9pm.

6-9PM RESPITE SUPPORTS AVAILABLE ON SITE: When registering please advise if you are bringing your child/sibling with them including their ages and interests. Please also note: anyone who needs specialized behaviour/medical support will require their own support staff to attend the group with them.
